Hello, this post is outdated but I am exactly in the same situation.

I use stripe for cc payments and I just want to offer paypal without any credit card icons or even better with a simple paypal icon next to the credit card icons...

Any way to show my own carriers which is not show on list? I calculate shipping cost by weight. Say if it fall into 0.1-0.25kg, it goes to light shipping, it cost $5, but if he can also have a faster express option to pay $10

Please see example screen dump uploaded for express option.

Thanks

Joe

Notes for fulfilment order by Sarah Carter

The notes section included in each order is a great tool.

I would like to find a way to include any notes into my third party fulfilment notification though... eg: if my customer places and order and changes the colour of the item, I want to be able to note this in before activiating the fulfilment and have this info appear on the fulfilment notifictaion received by my supplier.....its would be helpful for special delivery instructions for example too....

Can this be done?

Also, can a delivery note be set up and sent to the supplier also?

I want to use Shopify cart and checkout with CCavenue as the payment gateway.  Is that possible?  What I mean is I dont want to integrate ccavenue cart and checkout with my shop.  I just want to use ccavenue for processing card and mobile wallet transactions.

We've not had this work at all even since implementation and have sold many products already - they need to better document how it works and its requirements.

Hey, Vaibhav!

I'm Zuzanna, from the team here at Shopify :)

I took a look at the payment gateways that are offered in India, you can see a full list here, and I cross checked it with our list of known direct payment providers, you can see that list here. It looks like NETbilling will do the job! It's both a direct payment provider and it's available in India! That said, they are still a third party company, meaning that they aren't run by Shopify, so definitely reach out to them first to double check and make sure that they will work for you.

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to reach out to us here :)

Have a great one,
Zuzanna

Hey there,

I'm Zuzanna, from the team here at Shopify :)

We do have CCavenue integrated with a few countries that use Shopify, so depending on where you and your store are based out of you might be in luck! For example, if your store is located in India, you can see a list of payment providers we integrate with here, and CCavenue is on that list. Take a look at your country's list specifically and you'll be able to see what is offered for you and your store!

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to reach out to us here :)

Have a great one,

PAYOUT SCHEDULE by Maysa Hani

Hi,

Kindly advise how can we increase the time to byweekly or monthly PAYOUT SCHEDULE from shopify to our bank account since bank charges us 3 dollars per transaction?

Hi Jonathan,

I 100% agree with you!  This is completely misleading and for a company that allows us to charge our customers in multi currency shopify should too.  OR at the very least the Canada Post Shipping app should be quoting in USD so we at least have a better idea if we are charging enough for shipping.  Quoting our rates in Cad then charging in usd is sneaky  For a smaller store shipping is a huge cost, let alone having to pay usd exchange rates.  I talked to a guru today who also basically said "for less friction." For our monthly fees I can maybe be a little more forgiving but for Canada Post, for shipments shipped within Canada and all Canadian companies/customers involved, how does it possibly make sense to charge in USD other then the fact that Shopify is making money off our shipping.  Would love to see a change here with Canada Post.

Hey Maysa,

I'm Zuzanna, from the team here at Shopify :)

If this is in reference to Shopify Payments, at this time there isn't any way to modify the payouts, meaning that you wouldn't be able to make the payout schedule shorter or longer. I definitely see how this would be a hindrance to you and your business, so I will send this feedback to our team and hopefully, this will be something we can introduce to our payment provider in the future.

That said, if you find that this fee is too much, you can always use another payment provider. You can see a full list of providers available to you depending on your location here. You'll also want to reach out to them to see if they can schedule payouts to benefit you. Keep in mind though, when you use a third party payment provider, we will no longer be able to waive the transaction fee, this fee will be placed on each order and its percentage depends on the plan you are using. You can see more detail about this on our pricing page here

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to reach out to us here :)

Have a great one,
Zuzanna

Hi Rychelle,

I tototally agree with what you are saying.  When I chose to go with Shopify it was because it was a Canadian company but I guess Canadian companies do there best to screw Canadian merchants as well.  I do question the legality of a Canadian company charging Canadian merchants in US dollars.  Perhaps it is not illegal but I consider it quite unethical.  Especially as we get screwed everytime they convert from Canadian dollars to US dollars and then back again.

I totally agree with this.  I think it is quite unethical for a Canadian company to be charging it's Canadian customers in US dollars.

Has anyone got a suggestion for me? Really struggling with this.

The client has been in contact with PayPal Express Checkout and they are reporting to me that neither can they help out, however the client won't give me a reason why…

Hi all,

Here is a work around that may help:

-Open the 'Unfulfilled' tab

-Add a filter 'Status is open'

-Click 'Save this search' and give a name for this new tab

That will filter out cancelled and archived orders. As long as you archive refunded orders, those will be hidden as well.

If you need a more comprehensive solution, feel free to our app Better Reports.

There are built-in reports to show:

-Orders pending fulfillment

-Line items pending fulfillment

-The total quantity pending fulfilment for each variant, aggregated from all pending orders.

I hope this helps,

Clement

Thank you Zuzanna for your prompt reply.  Since I am running against time (going online on 16th June), your alacrity is invaluable.

Do advise me regarding two other things.

1. Since ccavenue is integrated with shopify, can i skip the step of downloading and installing their web integration kit.  Will my check out be seamless?

2.  I am facing a problem listing goods which are 'coming soon'.  When I list them as zero in quantity and 15 as incoming, the no. of incoming products does not show and the product goes up on the site as sold out.

I want that the products that are zero in quantity should appear as sold out when they are actually sold out but when there is incoming stock they should be seen as 'out of stock' and incoming.

3. This is because I want to set up the option of pre-order such that only the no of items that are incoming should be open to pre-order.  Please help me do this.

Hope you will reply at your earliest.

Use a multiple of price or weight based shipping instead of discrete values by Don Woodward

Hi,

I have one product with manual fulfillment and the shipping rate is $14.00 for a certain zone.  I want to have the shipping be (quantity * $14.00) automatically.  The only thing I've been able to discover is to add multiple shipping costs per discrete weights, (e.g. 1.0-1.99 lbs, 2.0-2.99, lbs, etc).  But this is very cumbersome.

Is there a way to set the shipping rate per unit to $14.00 and then have the shipping cost calculated automatically as (quantity * $14.00)?

Thanks,

-Don
