Hello !

I have shaken all internet,

just feel like stoped my shop coz of this error  :((

 

I'm getting this error when i'm trying to advance to the checkout for my site

"Issue with page redirect

Close modal

It looks like this page is redirecting to a page that isn't compatible with this editor. To ensure that your redirect doesn't interfere with the editing experience, replace

in your theme's JavaScript over here."

I can't find that line of code anywhere on my site...

How can I solve it?

I would recommend using a parcel forwarding service in the US for returns. They would get the returns and you can tell them when to send back the entire package to HK. The more they bundle together the more your savings will be. It definitely beats having them returned to you one at a time. Of course if you need them back in a timely fashion for repairs, etc., you might not have a choice. Our fulfillment center, fulfillrite.com , handles returns for our customers, and we deal with each customer individually with how they want their returns handled. Some ask us to put back in inventory, others opt to discard, and some want us to send back the returned products at their direction. You can find parcel forwarding services online, but make sure you speak to them and explain your situation.

I think there is a way for you to make it work: Check out this link https://help.shopify.com/api/reference/transaction and search for "Capture a previously authorized order for the full amount"

Seems like that would work for you. Our developers here ahve done similar things for customers, so feel free to reach out to us for fulfillment :)

Another option is to create the API yourself or have someone do it for you. It doesn't necessarily have to be the fulfillment center, but they if they are handling your orders and shipping, and are willing to work with it, they would be your best bet.

Usando Stripe no Brasil by HDV

Pessoal esse post é para lojas operando no Brasil que usam ou pretendem usar o Stripe como Gateway de pagamento.

Eu já estou usando o Stripe a um ano na minha loja e acho que ele tem a melhor opção de checkout transparente dentre as disponíveis para o Shopify no Brasil.

Por outro lado, o grave problema dele é não permitir parcelamentos e compras com boleto. Algo muito presente na cultura brasileira. 

Já interagi com eles algumas vezes sobre esse ponto e segundo me informaram estão avaliando implementar esses features para 2018.

Quem sabe se outros usuários também perguntarem e pressionarem isso agilize o processo.

Também criei esse post para que possamos discutir alernativas de formas de pagamento.

Is there a built in solution to this for Shopify? I already pay a subscription fee for Shopify. Why do I need to pay more for an app to do what Shopify should do out of the box?

Hi, i am from oman and i started my shop, my shop is USA based  and selected mastercard payment processor as my payment gateway but when contacted to mastercard they said they are no loger supported by shopify , now what should i do ? i am from oman and my shop is usabased so can i use shopify payment gateway ? please reply asap

Shipping In Summer-Dealing with the Hot Weather by Jamie L

Hi Everyone,

My question is, how do you deal with shipping in the summer time since it's so hot? Inside the delivery trucks are probably even hotter! 

I am looking to sell a bundle box containing lotions, bath items, and some edibles like dark chocolate to make kind of a "spa box". I don't want my customers to end up with melted treats, separated lotions, or anything leaking because they liquified. Thanks in advance for any help!


Collect signature upon delivery? by David Clark

We hand-deliver local purchases. How can we collect signatures upon delivery? I was hoping it'd be a feature on the Shopify iOS app, but it is not. 

I've searched for iOS apps that just allow you to collect signatures, but I can't find any. Ones for iPad would be perfect. 

Any ideas?

Peter here Shopify Support! 

I'm sorry to hear that you've had issues with getting Mastercard Payment Gateway Services connected. I'll be sure to pass this along to our Payment Gateway team so they can look further into whether their integration is useable with Shopify. If you're looking to offer a credit card processor, I'd suggest using 2Checkout which is available to Oman. You can also view all other gateways available for your country by visiting our payment gateway page here!

Shopify Payments is currently available to Canada/United States/Ireland/United Kingdom/Singapore/Australia/New Zealand. To use Shopify Payments does require that you're based in one of the listed countries, so it wouldn't be available to use for Oman quite yet. That being said, we would be happy to consider you for Shopify Payments if you're able to provide us with the following documentation:

  1. US Government issued photo ID
  2. A Tax ID in the United States - SSN and EIN (if applicable)
  3. Proof of a legitimate address in that country (not a forwarding address, you must be able to provide power/phone bills)
  4. A US-based bank account (not Payoneer - it has to be an actual bank located in the USA).

If you do have these documents, then feel free to reach out to our 24/7 support via chat or email and we'd be happy to get that escalated to the appropriate team! If you don't have these documents, then the best route would be using one of the payment processors available for your region. 2Checkout is a commonly used payment processor so they should be able to help get you set up!

Hi there! From the list you gave me, 

  • Checkout.com requires 3-6months experience in ruuning the shop and also an income of $10k from one shop, which is rather crazy
  • Paytabs in not availbale in Turkey, its mainly avaible in middle eastern countries

I am still trying different options and it's rather frustrating

Drop Ship & Print On Demand Shipping by Pawternity Co.

Hi everyone! I just recently launched my site and currently drop ship products from Aliexpress. I have some apparel designs on my store through Printful, but I haven't published them yet. I offer free shipping to compensate for the longer wait times with Aliexpress. I'm deciding what to do for shipping if someone orders a print on demand product by itself or with a drop ship product. The most logical option for me seems to be adding the Printful shipping rate to the price of the shirt, but I'm afraid this just makes it look like my shirt is a little on the pricier side.

To people who offer both drop ship and print on demand products in their store: how does your shipping work? I'd like to read everyone's methods and gain some insight before choosing what to do for my store. Thanks!
